In March of 1983 I was born in Anaheim, CA to Alexandra Efremidou, an immigrant from Thessaloniki, Greece. I was mostly raised in the Perris/Moreno Valley, CA area. After high school I took a few years off (well, 4) to live in Seattle and figure out what the great big world was all about. After landing a job in the title insurance industry, I worked hard in downtown Seattle and eventually transferred to an office in Colton, CA.
Once I realized the title industry wasn't for me, I enrolled at Riverside Community College full-time and began my undergraduate career. My family moved to Missouri to retire about a year and a half later, and I transferred to Santiago Canyon College in Orange, CA. Once I finished my transfer requirements I was accepted to CSU Fullerton and thus began my genuine exploration of my potential.
I earned my BA in Psychology, cum laude, in the Spring of 2009. I am currently a 1st year psychology graduate student at CSU Fullerton.
My research interests include: using structural equation modeling to rock my world; empathy and helping behaviors; individual difference measures that predict adherence to moral standards; moral credentialing, and toying with existential questions with a psychological lens.
